Rules

1. Who can use the site

1.1 Anyone can look around. To book a mock you sign in with Google. One person, one account.

1.2 18 or older: you book on your own.

1.3 Under 18 (14 to 17, or under 14): your parent or guardian confirms through a personal link that we make for you. You can book once they have confirmed. They do it once.

2. Credits

2.1 You pay for mocks in credits. One credit costs 1,200 so'm; payments are always in so'm (visitors abroad may see an approximate price of $0.10). Each examiner sets a price in credits, and you see it before you book.

2.2 Credits stay valid for 12 months after the top-up. Unused credits from a top-up can go back to your card within 14 days of paying. After that, write to support and we decide case by case.

2.3 Pay only through the site. Never pay an examiner directly: money paid outside the site is not covered by our refunds.

3. Booking

3.1 Pick an open time at least 4 hours ahead. Your credits are held when you book, and the examiner is paid only after the mock and the report.

3.2 Green times marked FREE are for the free first mock (Basic package). Everyone gets one: in Uzbekistan and India with Telegram connected and a phone number shared, everywhere else with our email news turned on. The number of free mocks each month is limited.

3.3 The mock runs as a video call on this site, in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on a computer or a phone (or on Zoom or the examiner's own link, when the mock page says so). Join on time, from a quiet place, with a working microphone and camera.

3.4 If you top up from the booking page, the time you picked is kept for you for 30 minutes while you pay. After that it is open to everyone again.

4. Cancelling and moving

• 24 hours or more before the start: every credit back.
• Between 2 and 24 hours before: half back.
• Less than 2 hours before, or not coming: nothing back.

4.1 You can move a booking once for free, up to 24 hours before.

4.2 A free mock cancelled 2 hours or more before becomes available again.

5. If the examiner lets you down

• The examiner does not come: mark it on the mock page and every credit comes back.
• The examiner cancels: every credit comes back.
• The report comes later than 24 hours: every credit comes back, and you still get the report.
• The call fails for technical reasons: pick a new time with the same examiner within 7 days, or take every credit back.

6. Problems, scores and reviews

6.1 Anything else went wrong? Raise a problem on the mock page within 48 hours. The examiner can answer, and Speak Test decides whether all, part or none of the credits come back.

6.2 Scores are an experienced examiner's estimate based on the public IELTS band descriptors. They are not an official IELTS result. Disagreeing with a band is not, on its own, a reason for a refund.

6.3 After a mock you can leave one honest review within 14 days. We hide reviews that are rude, untrue or show someone's personal details.

7. Behaviour

• Be polite. No insults, threats, harassment or discrimination.
• Keep talks and payments on the site. Messages with phone numbers, links or other contacts are held.
• The site records the session for the report. Do not record or post it yourself without the other person's agreement.
• No sharing of real exam questions, and no adult content.

7.1 We may warn, pause or close an account that breaks these rules. Unused paid credits are then handled as the public offer says.

8. Your data

8.1 We keep only what we need to run your mocks. Recordings and transcripts are deleted 6 months after the mock; reports stay with your account. The privacy policy has the details.
